Big John's Mountain Grill is a full service restaurant which has been family owned and operated in it's current incarnation since 2004. While we are a relatively small restaurant only accommodating approximately 50 guests at a time, we do however offer a varied and extensive menu. We are currently open six days a week for breakfast & lunch only from 8am to 2pm weekdays and 7am to 2pm weekends, closed every Tuesday. We are open for all holidays except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day

We pride ourselves on our menu content and variety, original creations, product quality and presentation, but also on our hospitality, standards, cleanliness and food handling. We are located in the picturesque mountain community of Frazier Park, California, which offers 'snow-play' and cross-country skiing in the winter, and camping, hiking, hunting, and off-roading the remainder of the year. Our accessible mountain tops are ideal not only for the nature and wildlife enthusiasts, hikers, and mountain bike riders, but also for astronomers, without the constant haze of city lights our night sky is literally 'full of stars'.

A number of annual community events are held locally, and are well-worth attending, 'Fiesta Days', 'Lilac Festival', 'Wine in the Pines', 'Holiday Faire & Festival of Lights Christmas Parade', 'Frazier Park Car Show', 'Run to the Pines' car show, and many more. At the nearby Fort Tejon State Park you can experience frontier California life of the 1850's and 1860's with their 'Living History' demonstrations which take place on the first Saturday of each month year round, one full weekend a year they present 'Civil War Battle Reenactments', and many other events.
